The small resort of Kanfanar is located in the lush green interior of the Istria region, not far from the popular Rovinj and Vrsar grape varieties. The community with almost 1,600 inhabitants was established in the middle of the 17th century when the residents of Dvigrad gave up their town.

It's a very nice town with great surroundings to walk or bike... There is even a nice walk / bike trail to Rovinj what was once a train track....
