The bridge over the Selška Sora, built in the middle of the 14th century from hewn stone in a semicircular shape, is one of the oldest monuments of its kind in Central Europe. In 1888 it was restored and equipped with an iron fence, and in its center a statue of St. John of Nepomuk with the Loka coat of arms was placed on a pedestal. In the Middle Ages, the Selška Gate with a watchtower stood next to the bridge.

It is the historical counterpart to the neighboring bridge, which does not look bad in a noble modern steel construction 🤗
