Update 08/2022: Path accessible again!
The blocked section relates to the direct route down to the Sauer. Follow the E1 towards Echternach, which crosses the street at the hotel. Also very nice path that is very interesting because it is accompanied by a landscaped watercourse! Later there is the opportunity to get down to the path on the Sauer.translated by

As of August 2022, the lower part of the Aesbach has been restored and is accessible down to the mouth of the Sauer. Although the upper part of the stream no longer carries water in the dry summer, the water still ripples here!
