Nassfeld Trail "I"

Blue, i.e. “easy” trail of the official Nassfeld routes. The trail begins on the Italian side just after the pond. It runs 3.5 km downhill over a depth of around 270 meters. The route commutes between S0 and S1. There are some easier meadow sections, but also a few somewhat tricky passages with loose scree and stones. You can easily accelerate here and the trail runs smoothly. In principle, even beginners can gain trail experience here, provided they have the right braking technique and a bit of foresight.
About a third of the way the route turns into a forest road, and after a while, quite surprisingly, there is a signpost in the meadow that tells you to continue to the left. You shouldn't miss it! In the last third the forest roads predominate again. But maybe that will change someday, there was a lot of forestry work going on in my area.
