The Bayerisch Gmainer Church was built in 1957.

The entrance portal welcomes the visitor as a "gate of faith" - the sentences of the creed are reproduced here in modern visual language.

On the altar fresco, the Holy Trinity is framed by the well-known 14 Holy Helpers, who are joined as the 15th person by the parish patron, St. Nikolaus von der Flüe.

In the antechamber of the church, changing scenes from the life of the saint are figuratively presented in a display case.

A display board provides information about the biography of "Brother Klaus", whose life took a radical turn through God's call and thanks to the consent of his wife Dorothee.

In 1957, the construction of the St. Nikolaus von der Flüe church in Bayerisch Gmain began. The community above Bad Reichenhall thus received its own church building and was an independent parish from 1959. It is also the youngest church within the city church. The church steeple is striking and visible from afar.

What is particularly striking about the architecture of the church is the large-scale shingle roof and the steep pointed tower. The own portal welcomes the visitor with motifs from the creed. In the special altar fresco, which impresses with its reduction and simplicity, the Holy Trinity is framed by the 14 helpers in need. If you look closely, you can see that the 15th helper in need is also holy brother Klaus.
