The Mondragon goose is a breed of domestic goose reared in Mondragon, near Arfanta di Tarzo (TV), recognized as a PAT (Traditional Agri-food Product).
The Mondragon goose originated from the cross between the Venetian spotted goose and the Romagna goose. Today it is raised in the wild or semi-wild by some agritourism companies, in order to recover the meadows in the process of reforestation. The grazing areas are subject to rotation to allow the renewal of plant species.
