"... The brook used to flow via Düsseldorf-Holthausen and Itter to Himmelgeist, where it flowed into the Rhine. When the new Benrath Castle was built in the 18th century, it was pulled to feed the castle pond, the mirror pond and the Ditches of the park and relocated their confluence with the Rhine to Urdenbach, and the lower part was drained.
A newspaper note from 1941 refers to the name "Order River" for the Itterbach, which is no longer known today. ... "
