The Thüster Berg is a fold of Thüster limestone. On the steep northern flank there are several limestone cliffs, mostly hidden in the forest, which bear the names Eck-, Dreck- and Falkenturm as well as Liebes Nadel. The corner tower rock balcony (380 m above sea level) juts out of the forest a little north-west below the Kansteinkuppe as a natural viewing platform. There are abandoned limestone quarries on the southwest side of the ridge.
