A first church in Reicherskreuz was mentioned in 1718 as a branch church of Groß Muckrow. The predecessor of today's church was built in the middle of the 18th century as a half-timbered building and has a flat three-sided east end and a southern entrance hall. A boarded tower with a pyramid roof adjoins it as the west tower. During the 1940s, the church in Reicherskreuz was threatened with demolition due to plans to build the Kurmark SS military training area, but it did not come about as the war ended.

▪︎▪︎》 After the church was left to decay during the GDR era, the nave was demolished down to the foundation between 1984 and 1986. The new building was erected as a massive brick structure, which was then faced with half-timbering. The furnishings of the church with altarpiece, pulpit and baptismal font come from the 19th century. The altarpiece was made using the remains of an old Gothic carved altar from the 15th century. The cast iron bell of the church. was cast in 1722 by the bell foundry of Christian See in Berlin.
