Road cycling
Excellent road with great views onto Lake Taihu 太湖. All the tourist traffic is attracted to Nianhuawan Town, thus once you are passed it (if heading south, going counterclockwise around the peninsula) the road is largely free.
Overall going around the peninsula is worthwhile, and I recommend going counterclockwise (for the better views onto the lake, and avoiding traffic coming in from the right).
