Half-timbered church built in 1730-1732 with the west tower retracted
April 6, 2020
The church made of plastered brick framework was built in 1730-1732 and is an impressive, rectangular hall building with a retracted west tower. In 1893 the church was completely renovated with the addition of a chancel in the east and changes to the windows. The organ, pulpit and altar date from the same year. In 1985 the reconstruction phase of the church began. In 1988 the beams were renewed and external plaster was applied. The interior is bright and friendly.Source: kirche-nauen-rathenow.de/index.php/kirchen-und-gemeinden/unsere-kirchen/semlin
