Playa Calahonda is a beach about one hundred and twenty meters long and about twenty meters wide. It has a high occupancy rate given its privileged location in the center of Nerja. You can enjoy a pleasant medium-grained sand, dark in color and moderate waves. Access is not difficult, although it is not adapted for disabled people. To get to the beach you have to go down a zigzag slope with stairs. Unfortunately, the only beach bar that was El Papagayo is closed (2022).
