Tips
After you have about 1400 meters of altitude on the way to the Rieserferner hut in your legs, you still have to climb the stairs. Here one overcomes another 150 meters in altitude !!!
A plaque at the entrance reminds you to be very careful here. There was already some snow on our morning descent at the end of August. The stairs are not continuous, but are mostly secured with a rope.translated by
