While the trail continues another mile west on the wave breaker/pier to the creek mouth into the Pacific pier, this is the official starting point of one of the best long distance dedicated bike trails across LA.

A great place to ride with views all around. The path can get very busy with walkers(with dogs), bikes, E-Bikes. More so as you get near the beach. Be careful!
