In the chapel, which was built on a private initiative in 1669, there is a copy of the well-known image of the Virgin by Lucas Cranach in the Innsbruck Cathedral of St. Jakob. A good starting point for various hikes and mountain tours.

The small chapel was built in 1669, renovated in 1764 and partially rebuilt in 1785. Renovations took place in 1950, 1990 and 1999.
The simple, largely unadorned building has a flat barrel vault on the inside. A canopy painting was uncovered in the apse in 1991. The altar consists of a copy of the famous Innsbruck Mariahilf picture by Lukas Cranach and was given a new frame with a wreath of rays in the early 1950s.
