This is an amazing pass with wonderful views on this very remote and wild environment… Can be a bit technical to descend on the direction to Bousieyas, trekking poles can be useful if your shoes lack a bit of grip.

To reach Pas de la Cavale, at an altitude of 2,671 meters, you have to pass through a large scree. The decor is completely mineral, and you enjoy a superb view of the Tête Carrée (2,865 meters) and the Tête de Pelouse (2,922 meters).
