Botinaccio Climb

probably the best way to get from Empoli to Montespertoli avoiding all the traffic. Very scenic segment this one. You will go through a residential area on the first km of the climb to start then passing lots of Cipressi and finishing with Vineyards. There is a couple of wall so steep but worth doing them

There are some tough climbs, short but steep climbs, where you need a bit of leg.
Eventually you can always put your foot on the ground in those sections.

Climb away from traffic immersed in the typical and scenic Tuscan landscape. You cross truly evocative stretches in the shade of the cypresses with breathtaking views of the vineyards.
It's an inconsistent climb, with some really tough climbs. The hardest is the one after the Convent of the Madonna della Pace (a beautiful wall at 16-17%).
