The three Kühstellen caves (Enge, Kleine and Große Kühstelle; 7720/11–13), also called Kuhstall, Kuhstelle cave, grottoes near Winterlingen, Kühbuchen cave or Winterlingen cave, are a natural and archaeological monument not far from the road from Winterlingen to Bitz.

Hiking

The three Kühstellen caves are located at an altitude of 845 m on the western edge of a dry valley, in a rocky hilltop 4 km northwest of Winterlingen.
A few hundred meters away in the forest is a large so-called Hülbe, a water-filled sinkhole sealed with clay. The Great Kühstellenhöhle has a total length of 37 m, is 6 m wide and 3-4 m high.

In addition to bone remains from Ice Age fauna, evidence from different settlement eras was also found.
