The striking 78 meter high tower of the Martinus Church is the third highest church tower in the Archdiocese of Cologne after Cologne Cathedral and Bonn Minster.

The church is an official stamp point of the Rhenish Way of St. James. Pilgrims receive their stamp either in the church or in the parish office of the St. Martin parish at Stiftstrasse 6.
