    Maglehøj is a burial mound from the pre-Danish period, dating from 250,000 BC to 1066 AD. The mound has a diameter of 35 meters and a height of 5.5 meters. It sits atop a hill formed by wind erosion after the last Ice Age. The hill rises 70 meters above sea level.

    The burial mound is distinctly domed, and a small footpath leads to the summit, where a geodetic measuring station is located.

    Next to the main mound lies a slightly smaller burial mound, and two more can be found to the southeast.

    On a clear day, Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, Roskilde Cathedral, Arresø Lake, and Roskilde Fjord are visible from here.
