Road Cycling Highlight (Segment)
The Oberjochpass is the second highest road pass in the Allgäu Alps. It winds its way from Bad Hindelang up to Oberjoch via nine serpentines and makes a good 350 meters in altitude over approximately seven kilometers. That's a neat climb, but it is easy to drive and reasonably manageable, so that "new passers-by" can really get used to real Alpine feeling. What there is in any case, is pass typical impressive view of the underlying street turns and Bad Hindelang.

Nice even slope ... Top developed and sometimes quite a lot of traffic.
Popular passport for racing cyclists and of course also for motorcyclists! :-)

Very nice to drive, not too steep. Heavy traffic, especially on nice weekends, so it's best to drive during the week or early morning.

Very beautiful serpentine-rich pass from Bad Hindelang to Oberjoch. However, a lot of traffic.

Perfectly laid out road, steep, but not too much - a GenussPass.
At the last two hairpin bends above, there are two viewpoints that allow a magnificent view of the Oberstdorf u Sonthofen mountains.

I drove down the pass on a Sunday and got stuck in a traffic jam. On the weekend only partially recommended.

Approx. 6 km climb from Bad Hindelang. Great serpentine scooter route. Average gradient about 5% with a beautiful view over the Hindelanger valley and the surrounding mountains. At the pass, which is hardly worth seeing, you can count whether you want to go to the Tannheimer Valley to Austria or back to the Grüntensee.
