The Härtsfeldbahn - popularly called Schättere - was a meter gauge narrow gauge railway over the located in the east of Baden-Wurttemberg Härtsfeld with continuation to Bavaria. The starting point of the branch line was Aalen. About Neresheim and Ballmertshofen reached after 55.49 kilometers Dillingen on the Danube.
The passenger traffic ended on 30 September 1972, the goods traffic two months later. The tracks were then dismantled. A nearly three-kilometer section was rebuilt by the club and opened in 2001 as a heritage railway.
