A highlight for attentive observers and also an experience for children. But please don't bother too often.
Many hikers won't see the castles at all, if you don't have a trained eye, it's easy to think of it as a pile of wood. In winter it is easier because then beaver mud is applied. The is used for thermal insulation. There is one or more ventilation holes in the tip, which are frosted with hoarfrost from the beaver's breath when it freezes.

The best chance to see a beaver, you have at dusk. So do not forget binoculars and the little bit of luck. And please do not go too close to the beaver building, or get on it.
