Domen Summit Shelter and View of Vardø

On the summit of the Domen, the Norwegian State Road Administration has erected a building with resting and viewing opportunities with an overwhelming view.

Beautifully located overlooking Vardø. You can easily stay overnight there as there is enough space for sleeping mats and depending on wind you could pick different module of the shelter. There are campfire spots, bring your own wood. Shelter is bike accessible (wasn't clear on the map) but also well visible from the road so there might be more people pulling in. Mount Domen is known from folklore as the place where witches would have their meetings with Satan. At Steilneset memorial in Vardø you can read more about the fates of those who were convicted of witchcraft and burnt at the stake.
