The district court on the church square of Horn is also known as a painted house or sgraffito house. The core of the three-storey building dates from the fourth quarter of the 16th century. The coat of arms on the building suggests that the sgraffito pictures marked 1583 were attached under Veit Albrecht von Puchheim as the owner. The pictures, which were painted over at an unknown point in time, were rediscovered, uncovered, restored and supplemented in 1899/1900.

10/25/2016 - The house at Kirchenplatz No. 3 has a remarkable sgraffito facade inscribed with the year 1583. The decorations, executed in scraped plaster, show ornamental and figural elements. The middle and upper floors are framed by bands with candelabra motifs. There are the seven planetary gods with their zodiac signs and symbols, allegories of summer and autumn, the ten male ages, various fable scenes, but also allegorical figures, depictions from the Old Testament and a crucifixion and resurrection scene.

The remains of an ornamental sgraffito decoration can still be seen on the house at Kirchenplatz 1, which also dates from the late 16th century.
