At the height of the Frauenlobstraße you will find "Frauenlob Barke" - the fountain is especially popular with children in the summer - and the cornerstones of the old Frauenlobtors. Along the banks of the Rhine are several of these old, partially already renovated gates, which were originally part of the built between 1873 and 1879 "Rheinkehl fortification". Today they point to the respective historic city entrance and are named after the former function of these entrances.
