The ascent starts quite steeply at the bottom of Unterreichenbach, then it goes up the 3km to Grunbach with a constant gradient of ~6-8% (but the gradient does not end at the town sign 😅).

A detour to the Unterreichenbach cemetery is a good idea to refill your water bottle. The area is pretty and has a public toilet - but that's just a side note.

Despite the fact that it's an L, there's actually little traffic - and if there is, there are several options in an emergency to pull over to the right and let everyone through.

The surface is very suitable for the descent, but you have to be careful at Unterreichenbach because, as mentioned, the gradient gets steep here, the last bend is quite narrow and the streets are confusing
