Refugio de Coll Baix

At the crossroads where you can descend to the beach Platja des Col Baix, there is a well-kept rest area with shelter and a simple toilet. The wooden benches stand in the shade of large pine trees and you have a beautiful view of the bay with the steep cliffs.

A small, nice resting place in the forest, the only bank we met on the way. A public toilet here was unfortunately closed.

At the Refugio des Coll Baix you can decide whether you want to go down to the beautiful sandy beach (and then back up again, of course), or whether you want to follow the hiking trail through the valley, which even leads to a road for a while, until you turn right onto a very rustic path in and around the mostly dry riverbed.
