The Casera del Monte Fara (now Malga Fara) is a structure of the Municipality of Andreis at 960 m.s.l.m. located in the center of a large sloping lawn on the north side. Since 2017 it has been in concession to the Consortium of the Friulian Valleys and Dolomites, which keeps the surrounding pastures clean and productive with a flock of Comisane sheep. From the end of May to September the hut is open as a refreshment point and for the sale of products of the consortium companies. Near the Malga the paths start for the church of Sant’Antonio and Maniago (CAI 899), Monte Fara (CAI 983) and Monte Jouf (CAI 983).consorziovallidolomitifriulane.it
