Especially popular for the sunset. You can ride on an elephant or go - great view of Angkor Wat

The Phnom Nakheng is probably the classic sunset temple in Angkor. Accordingly, it is often full up there. Hikers with children should note that children under the age of 12 are not allowed to climb the temple (stairs too steep?). There is a platform below the temple for families; View and sunset from there are also ok. It should also be remembered that Angkor Wat is opposite to the sunset. There is also a viewing platform for Angkor Wat. However, if you want to take photos of Angkor Wat in front of the setting sun, you are completely wrong here.

It is worth a visit at about 17-18 clock, because there are only a few tourists up. The temple is limited to 300 people
