The ancient town house is the birthplace of the brothers Fernando Marqués del Muni and Juan de León y Castillo. Fernando was from 1881 Foreign Minister of Spain, his brother Juan worked as an architect and engineer. The architecture of the buildings corresponds to the traditional Canarian style with Moorish influence.
