The Schleusenwiese is station 2 "Diversity - blooming wet meadow" and belongs to the approx. 12 km long moor adventure trail around the Roofensee with its 5 stations. The Schleusenwiese is one of the silting bogs made usable by humans. Here in August we saw many flowering plants and animals, such as lizards, grasshoppers, dragonflies, butterflies and bumblebees.
