There used to be some wooden play equipment, but unfortunately they are now weathered.
Update:
The stairs opposite the path on the tower led to a base from which one could go over the passage to the other side by cable car. Then the stairs go up and down again and a wooden bridge led over the large entrance of the quarry. The collapsed wooden bridge can still be seen if you made the effort to go up the stairs. There's even a bench at the top of the stairs, but it would collapse. From this point there used to be a wonderful view of Boxtal.
