While all the other villagers had to laboriously fetch their drinking water from wells at different distances, the forester's house was already supplied from this source via a pipe. This only changed between 1956 and 1962, when the first aqueduct was laid in the whole village. The feed took place from the elevated tank on the "Trift". In memory of the village fountains as a meeting point and “information exchange”, the former scoop fountain (near the volunteer fire brigade) was restored and redesigned as a meeting point.

The Forsthaus spring is beautifully situated and well maintained. However, over the years I have the impression that it has been carrying less and less water and is dry in the summer anyway.
