The Roman Catholic pilgrimage church of Maria Schnee on the Hochalm is located at an altitude of 1,822 meters. From here you have a great view over Seckau and the Murtal, the perfect place to pause. The church was built for the alpine shepherds and dairymen as a "soul comfort" and was consecrated on July 2, 1660. On the first Sunday in July and August you can experience a service at this extraordinary place.
