About Chri-Biker

Today we went from the saddle house (Oskar-Schauer-Haus) to the bull's cross
From there, it went steeply through the forest towards the Weißer Herrgott.
Unfortunately it was still very foggy at that time, so we went on to the Ternbachkogel with not particularly good photos
Once there, the fog disappeared within a minute and we had a wonderfully clear view of the Murtal.
After our snack we decided to go back to the White Lord, as the fog disappeared more and more.
And it was just as we wanted it to be: you could photograph the White Lord God, who can easily be confused with the statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, very well.
After several photographs we went back to the saddle house, where we got something warm to eat.
Unfortunately, the weather was not as it was said in the weather report: clear, sunny weather all over Austria.
In the beginning we had to fight with limited visibility and the cold.
Fortunately, part of the fog disappeared, so the hike was still worth it🌞😊.

Easy hike to the Steineck. We had beautiful, cloudless weather on our hike (see pictures).
This hike is manageable for everyone as it does not involve any steep climbs.

Today we wanted to visit our house again, which we built in the Weyern-Au.
Unfortunately, a long time has passed since the last time, and so we had to rebuild our house.
Still, it was fun 😃 (except for the gels).
On the way back we drove via Spielberg. We waited briefly at the Spielberg train station for a REX to arrive so that we could wave to it😉😊😁🚄.

Today we went from Weinmeisterboden to the Bremstein summit ⛰ (1868 meters). During the hike we always looked around for deer, chamois and ibex.
From the summit we saw 14 chamois in a meadow in the valley.
We only saw the deer through the binoculars.
We had lunch between the mountain pines that grow around the summit.
From the summit we then went to the Antonikreuz, which is easy to reach.
Overall, it was a wonderful hike that we really enjoyed🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🌞.

Today we made a short hike from Sillweg to the lookout point. We had beautiful weather and therefore a wide view.
A green and white flag (Styria) has recently been hanging there and can be seen from afar. (see picture 6)
A new book has also been on the lookout point since September 1st.
Not many people are currently registered👍.

Today we drove from Mixnitz via Breitenau and the Russenstraße to the Teichalm. 🚴‍♂️
There we had the first break at the LaHü-Alm.
The 2nd Alm was then the Tyrnauer Alm, where we had lunch. The Brettljause is highly recommended😃👍.
At the end there was a nice, rapid descent back to Mixnitz.

This tour comes from the Drautalradweg website.
As the name suggests, the Drautal Cycle Path leads along the Drau. Finally the Drava flows into the Danube in Croatia, next to the border with Serbia.
Information about the tour (from drauradweg.com/de/etappen/etappenraum-7/unterkuenfte):
Experience the unique connection between nature and cultureThe Drau leaves Maribor and pours over the Drau field in its natural form through several nature parks. The largest are the Drava Landscape Park and the Šturmovci Nature Park. Here you can watch how the Drava has changed and influenced the surrounding landscape for many centuries. Along the river there are always calm and deep water holes that invite you to cool off. One of the most interesting recreational spots are the Duplek Wake Park and the Ptuj Lake with many recreational and sports opportunities.Through beautiful fields you reach the oldest city in Slovenia: Ptuj, which has existed since Roman times. Ptuj has a well-preserved medieval town center with a castle and is also known for its Kurent culture - demonic beings who drive away winter. Relax in the Ptuj thermal baths or enjoy a glass of wine in one of the many wine cellars in the region, such as the Jeruzalem wine cellar in Ormož, the largest winery in the region. After Ormož and Središče ob Dravi you reach the Croatian border and finally Varaždin, a baroque town with lots of young people, music, flowers and cyclists. The city, which the locals affectionately call "Little Vienna", offers a well-preserved city center with a castle and beautiful parks.GPX or KML file can be downloaded from the link above.

Information about the tour (from drauradweg.com/de/etappen/etappenraum-6/unterkuenfte):
The Slovenian Drava enchants above all with its scenic charms, quiet and secluded villages. There is a cycle path on this last section of the route only in certain areas. Sometimes you have to cover short distances on busy roads, sometimes unpaved roads, especially in the Slovenian Drautal. This stage is therefore rather unsuitable for families with children.GPX or KML file can be downloaded from the link above.

Information about the tour (from drauradweg.com/de/etappen/etappenraum-5/unterkuenfte):
The penultimate section of the Drau cycle path (67km) also offers you a lot of variety. Most of the wooded slopes drop steeply towards the Drava. That is why the route often runs a little further away from the Drau on roads with little traffic. Central Europe's highest railway bridge (96 meters), the Jauntal Bridge, is a special attraction. Adventure seekers can plunge into the depths here - bungee jumping makes it possible. The St. Luzia suspension bridge shortly thereafter is also an imposing structure.
Attention: Due to the renovation measures of the Jauntal bridge, the Drau cycle path is currently being diverted from the Ruden local exit !!!

Information about the tour (from drauradweg.com/de/etappen/etappenraum-4/unterkuenfte):
The following section is definitely the most varied (52 km) of this bike tour. Many lakes are within easy reach and trips to the Wörther See and Faaker See are particularly worthwhile. Before you reach the site of the Hallstatt period graves near Rosegg, you should try your luck at Casino Velden.
Most of the Drau cycle path now takes you on easily navigable dam paths through the enchanting Rosental. Impressive rocks, castles and lakes provide a variety of landscapes. A highlight is the stage destination, the gunsmith town of Ferlach.
Close to the water and always leisurely, it goes through tranquil villages, past neat castles such as Wernberg, Ebenau and Rosegg Castle with its zoo. The proud Hollenburg marks the stage destination, the gunsmith town of Ferlach. In the "landscape garden" of the Rosental valley, the southern attitude towards life meets scenic diversity, abundance of water and tranquility. Special places by the water invite you to linger, the cuisine of the Alpe Adria area to hearty enjoyment.GPX or KML file can be downloaded from the link above.
