Giacomo Zanella (* 1820 in Chiampo, Province of Vicenza, Italy; † May 17, 1888 in Vicenza) was an Italian poet and literary historian.
Zanella initially devoted himself to the priesthood and in 1855 became professor of philosophy at the Liceo di Santa Caterina in Venice. In 1856 he became director of the Ginnaseo liceale in Vicenza and in 1866 professor of Italian literature at the University of Padua. In 1872 he withdrew from this position into private life for health reasons. Zanella was one of the most famous poets in Parnassus, Italy. In 1886 he was admitted to the Accademia della Crusca in Florence
