The Huay Tung Tao Reservoir just outside Chian Mai is perfect for ending an enduro tour. Right on the shore are small bamboo huts where you can chill comfortably. From various restaurants you can bring delicious Thai food directly there.
The lake is a popular recreational area, it can be crowded at peak times. In addition, you should protect yourself here (as everywhere in Thailand) particularly well against mosquito bites, because the little tormentors here unsightly tropical diseases such as the dengue fever can transfer.
