Livari Viewpoint – View of Lake Skadar

The small road along and above Lake Shkodra is our absolute highlight in the Balkans. No traffic, wonderful nature, lonely, wonderful view of this natural lake, which offers new perspectives behind every curve. And then - in the middle of this biblical route, just far enough from the starting point - Shkodre - lies the evening's destination: Livary Viewpoint. A small, lush meadow with an overnight hut and a campsite in the middle of the rocks and chestnut trees. There is also a small "restaurant hut" with a spectacular view of the lake, super good food and drink. Here we enjoy absolute peace, a blood-red sunset over Lake Shkodra and in the distance, just before Skodre - alpenglow.
