The tower is a relic from the beginnings of the hiking trail: over 100 years old, 30 m high, the landmark on a 232 m high Spessart hill attracts day trippers. There are 150 steps up to the small viewing platform, from where you can enjoy the view of Kinzigtal and Vogelsberg as well as the Rhön and Taunus.

Great views are guaranteed when the weather is nice. The platform is quite small and narrow, if several people are walking around there it quickly becomes very narrow, you should definitely have a head for heights 🛕😉
