The People’s Palace is a museum and glasshouse set in the historic Glasgow Green. The free-entry palace houses a wonderful collection of items, photographs, prints, and film which give a unique view into how Glaswegians lived from 1750 to the present day. A very nice conservatory with a small museum upstairs and a small cafe with delicious ice cream from the island of Aran. Highly recommended if it rains properly, and that should happen in Scotland.

Hiking

The People's Palace is now closed for the foreseeable future. The museum, winter gardens and cafe are all closed as well. Shame.
