In summer, the Bannalpsee can be reached in 8 minutes with the "Fellboden - Bannalpsee cable car" (s'rotä Bähnli).
For the timetable, see the website: bannalp.ch/index.php/fahrplan There is a wonderful 1-hour circular tour around the Bannalpsee. There are various barbecue options (with wood) at the mouth of the mountain stream in the Bannalpsee. I asked around and found out that you can also swim in the lake.
Various other hiking options invite you to explore the great landscape and for families with younger children there is the Zwärgliweg. In the Bannalpsee mountain inn, you will receive very friendly service and food. :-) They also offer overnight accommodation.translated by
