The Reitlingstal is really picturesque. As you roll across the road, idyllic meadows and pastures pass you and further up in the forest it gets really nice and shady. If you want, you can stop by the Reitling restaurant and strengthen yourself for the onward journey.

From Königslutter into the Reitlingstal. At the top of the mountain turn left and in the valley turn towards Evessen. At the Elm there is a fruit growing area where you can buy fruit directly from the producer. Make sure to check the opening times!!
