Hikers are sometimes surprised to see the trail ends at the top of 800-foot Waipo'o Falls, as opposed to approaching it head-on for the best views. It's still a breathtaking view, though. Take care if you try to get near the edge, as that's quite a drop. Coming early increases your odds of having clear skies, and (somewhat) avoiding the crowds on this popular trail.

The Waipo’o Falls Trail Leads you to the top of the falls – you will never see these falls head on. So this highlight is more about the stream that becomes the waterfall.

Hiking Waimea Canyon trail will bring you to this glorious falls. There is a small lake just above the fall, where you can swim. This is busy trail so start early to avoid crowds. It is demanding hike with steep ups and downs which can be dangerous in rainy day. Enjoy and respect
