The Rot is a left tributary of the Kocher River, approximately 37 kilometers long, in northern Baden-Württemberg. It flows east to southeast almost its entire length through the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park and empties into the river near Gaildorf-Unterrot. To distinguish it from other rivers of the same name, some of which flow quite close, it is occasionally called the Fichtenberger Rot.
