The Rammsee near Brekendorf is one of the lakes in Schleswig-Holstein and is located south of Schleswig. It is one of the dead ice lakes that formed during the last ice age. This ice age has left some traces in the municipality of Brekendorf and the local nature park "Hüttener Berge". On the one hand the highest elevation in the Schleswig region with the 106 meter high Scheelsberg and the Heidberg, so named because of its rare vegetation, which is also a natural monument.
