The abbey church of Saint-Julien was originally built as the monastery church of Clovis. In the 13th century, extensive reconstruction took place, after which only the tower from the 11th century remained. But also inside the abbey church some historical sights could be preserved. These include the Gothic chapter house and the 12th-century wine cellar. The courtyard of the 16th-century cloister is also a real highlight of the Saint-Julien abbey church.

A building close to the Loire that can almost go unnoticed if we take care.
