The park is located in Munkwolstrup on the Ochsenweg. It is an archaeological open-air complex with 6 megalithic tombs. Since summer 2024, you can also admire the ox sculptures by the landscape artist Wolfgang Buntrock. They are made of dead wood and stand behind the large long grave.

Around these megalithic tombs today is the Arnkiel Park, a discreet parkland in which we keep stopping for a walk when we are on our way to Flensburg. The small parking lot is close to the main road and immediately you are on the slightly hilly terrain. Two and a half hectares large, this particular cemetery contains Northern Europe's largest reconstruction of a megalithic grave.

In the middle of an open field - well described in the small pavilion and directly on the grave field - you can walk on it from the side facing away from the road. In the documentation center there are also decent accessible toilets and outside tables for resting.

If you come here you should take a short break. You can learn a lot thanks to the information boards.
