At the end of the valley, on the Hinteren Gosausee, is the Hohe Holzmeisteralm at 1,164m. The rustic mountain hut can be reached via the gravel path within 1 ½ hours from the beginning of the Vorderen Gosau lake and reveals a piece of untouched nature.
