Road cycling
This road takes you to the highest point you can go in Norway on a paved road. They say it's the hardest climb in Norway - and 13 km of 10% certainly is tough! Afte 4 km you above tree level and the landscape you ride through is out of this world. The views are amazing. Certainly worth the effort. But bring warm clothes for the descent. Even in hight summer the weather can quickly change in the mountains and the descent can get freaking cold of you aren't prepared.

Cycled June 2022 - Road cleared of snow but still lots on the side of the road with a lot of melt making the road wet and poor condition in areas. I agree with Hans, make sure you're prepared with spare (dry) clothes. Be careful on the descent as you can pick up speed incredibly fast!
